I have been knitting on this now for 4 days. At the end of today, I should have 5 out of the 31 repeats done. I'm always curious about how many stitches make up a project. I did the math for this shawl. At the end of the project, I will have knitted an amazing 43,568 stitches!! Holy cow!! No wonder people think I'm crazy. That's a lot of times to pull yarn through a small loop. But it's also very calming (when you don't drop a stitch), and a great way to keep your hands busy (if you're trying not to gorge on chocolate).

Making quick progress

I told you it wasn't hard to do. My eyes are really getting old. Have trouble reading the red on the black in such fine print. So what are you making the lace for? Look really nice. See you on the 22nd.
